नईदिल्ली । फ्रांस से खरीदे गए राफेल लड़ाकू विमानों को औपचारिक रूप से 10 सितंबर को भारतीय वायु सेना में शामिल किया जाएगा। रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह 10 सितंबर को हरियाणा के अंबाला हवाई अड्डे पर भारतीय वायु सेना में 5 राफेल लड़ाकू विमानों को औपचारिक रूप से एक समारोह में शामिल करेंगे, जिसके लिए फ्रांसीसी रक्षा मंत्री फ्लोरेंस पैली को भी आमंत्रित किया जाएगा।
रक्षा सूत्रों ने बताया कि यह समारोह रूस से रक्षा मंत्री की वापसी के बाद आयोजित किया जाएगा। राजनाथ सिंह रूस में 4 से 6 सितंबर तक शंघाई सहयोग संगठन के सदस्य देशों के रक्षा मंत्रियों की बैठक में शामिल होने वाले हैं। सूत्र ने कहा, राफेल विमान को वायुसेना में औपचारिक रूप से शामिल करने वाला समारोह 10 सितंबर को आयोजित किया जाएगा। भारत और फ्रांस के बीच रणनीतिक दोस्ती को चिह्नित करने के लिए फ्रांस के रक्षा मंत्री को इस कार्यक्रम में भाग लेने के लिए निमंत्रण भी भेजा जा रहा है।
आपको बता दें कि पांच राफेल लड़ाकू विमान 29 जुलाई को फ्रांस से भारत पहुंचे और देश में 24 घंटों के भीतर व्यापक प्रशिक्षण शुरू कर दिया। ये फ्रांसीसी लड़ाकू विमान वायु सेना के 17 गोल्डन एरो स्क्वाड्रन का हिस्सा हैं। लड़ाकू विमान पहले ही लद्दाख क्षेत्र में उड़ान भर चुके हैं। वे उस इलाके से परिचित हैं, जिस पर उन्हें देश के विभिन्न हिस्सों में उड़ान भरनी है। देश में जो पांच राफेल पहुंचे हैं उनमें तीन एक सीट वाले हैं और दो में दो सीट लगे हैं।
