नई दिल्ली। पिछले नौ सालों के दौरान दस राज्यों में नक्सली हिंसा में 3700 से अधिक लोग मारे गए हैं, इनमें सबसे अधिक जान छत्तीसगढ़ में गईं। गृह मंत्रालय ने वर्ष 2018-19 की अपनी रिपोर्ट में कहा है कि भाकपा (माओवादी) देश में विभिन्न वाम चरमपंथी संगठनों में सबसे ताकतवर संगठन है और वह 88 फीसदी से अधिक हिंसक घटनाओं एवं फलस्वरूप होने वाली मौतों के लिए जिम्मेदार है। रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है, ‘बढ़ते नुकसान के बीच भाकपा (माओवादी) अंतर-राज्यीय सीमाओं पर नए क्षेत्रों में अपने पांव पसारने की कोशिश में जुटा है, लेकिन उसे कोई बड़ी सफलता हाथ नहीं लगी है।Ó रिपोर्ट के अनुसार वर्ष 2010 से दस राज्यों में हिंसा की 10,660 घटनाओं में 3,749 लोगों की जाने गई हैं। छत्तीसगढ़ में वर्ष 2010 से 2018 के बीच माओवादियों द्वारा अंजाम दी गई 3769 हिंसक घटनाओं में 1370 लोगों की मौत हुई। वहीं झारखंड में वाम चरमपंथ की 3,358 हिंसक घटनाओं में 997 लोग मारे गए जबकि बिहार में उसी दौरान 1526 ऐसी ही हिंसक वारदातों में 387 लोगों को अपनी जान गंवानी पड़ी। दस नक्सल प्रभावित राज्य छत्तीसगढ़, झारखंड, बिहार, ओडिशा, पश्चिम बंगाल, महाराष्ट्र, तेलंगाना, आंध्र प्रदेश, मध्य प्रदेश और उत्तर प्रदेश हैं। सरकार द्वारा राष्ट्रीय नीति एवं कार्ययोजना से देश में वाम चरमपंथ के परिदृश्य में काफी सुधार आया है। पिछले पांच सालों में वाम चरमपंथ हिंसा में बहुत गिरावट आई है और वाम चरमपंथ का भौगोलिक प्रसार भी घटा है।
