देहरादून । देहरादून जनपद में डेंगू रोकथाम के लिए मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी व मुख्य सचिव एस एस संधु के निर्देश पर स्वास्थ्य सचिव डॉ आर राजेश कुमार ने चार दिवसीय महा-अभियान का शुरूआत की। इस महा-अभियान में स्वास्थ्य विभाग, नगर निगम, जिला प्रशासन, शिक्षा विभाग सहित विभिन्न सरकारी ईकाईयों द्वारा मिलकर जनपद देहरादून के विभिन्न स्थानों पर व्यापक जागरूकता अभियान चलाया गया। 
जनपद के विभिन्न इलाकों में घरों एवं मोहल्लों में जाकर डेंगू का लार्वा को नष्ट किया गया तथा लोगों को डेंगू के बारे में जागरूक किया गया तथा आशाओं के माध्यम से दवाओं का वितरण किया गया। स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा आई०ई०सी० सामग्री का वितरण आशाओं एवं टीम के सदस्यों द्वारा किया गया। इसके साथ ही नगर निगम टीम द्वारा शहर के कई इलाकों में फॉगिंग अभियान चलाया गया।
हाई रिस्क क्षेत्रों में चलाया गया डेंगू रोकथाम महाअभियान
मंगलवार को देहरादून शहरी क्षेत्र के २४ हाई रिस्क वार्डों में डेंगू रोकथाम महाअभियान संचालित किया गया। महाअभियान के दौरान आशा कार्यकत्रियों एवं आशा फैसिलिटेटर द्वारा सभी वार्डों में घर-घर जाकर सघन अभियान चलाते हुए डेंगू लार्वा साईट को चिन्हित किया तथा लार्वा साईट को नष्ट किया। वृहद संभावित लार्वा साईट में लार्वा नाशक का छिड़काव किया गया। आशा कार्यकत्रियों द्वारा ५३४० घरों का भ्रमण किया गया। जिनमें कुल २५२ बड़ी-छोटी लार्वा साईट को नष्ट किया गया। यह महाअभियान देहरादून के करनपुर, बकरालवाला, चुक्खुवाला, शिवाजी मार्ग, बलूपुर, इंदरा नगर, कांवली, पटेलनगर, अजबपुर, धर्मपुर, मेहूवाला, देहराखास, लखीबाग, विद्या विहार, निरंजनपुर, माजरा, रेस्ट कैंप, रेस कोर्स, बंजारावाला, मोथरोवाला, मोहब्बेवाला, चन्द्रबनी, आर्केदिया आदि क्षेत्रों में चलाया गया। चिन्हित २४ वार्डों के अतिरिक्त जनपद के अन्य क्षेत्रों में दैनिक अभियान के दौरान आशा कार्यकत्रियों द्वारा १४९८५ घरों का भ्रमण किया गया।
इस दौरान उनके द्वारा घरों व आसपास ३३०३ लार्वा साईट को नष्ट किया गया व लार्वा नाशक का छिड़काव किया गया। वहीं डेंगू वॉलेंटियरर्स द्वारा जनपद में १३४९ घरों का भ्रमण करते हुए १४६१ लार्वा साईट को नष्ट किया गया तथा लार्वा नाशक का छिड़कावा किया गया।
डेंगू रोकथाम अभियान अगले तीन दिन जारी रहेगा। इस अभियान के जरिए सभी टीमें संम्पूर्ण देहरादून शहर का भ्रणम कर आम जनमानस को डेंगू को लेकर जागरूक करेंगी। इसके साथ ही डेंगू के हाई रिस्क क्षेत्रों पर टीमों का खास फोकस रहेगा। स्वास्थ्य सचिव ने कहा ऐसा महाअभियान देहरादून के बाद राज्य के अन्य सभी जनपदों में चलाया जायेगा। जिन भी क्षेत्रों में डेंगू के मामले सामने आ रहे हैं उन क्षेत्रों में प्राथमिकता के तहत अभियान चलाया जायेगा। इसके साथ आम जनमानस से उन्होंने अपील की कि अपने आस पास साफ सफाई बनाकर रखें, पानी को जमा न होने न दें।
