अभियान की संक्षिप्त विवरण
रायपुर (जनसम्पर्क विभाग)। चमन लाल कोसे माउंट फ़्रेंडसशिप पीक को 6 दिनों में फतह कर लिया। उन्होंने 15 नवंबर को एडवांस बेस कैम्प से रात 10.10 बजे पर चढ़ाई शुरू की और 16 नवंबर को सुबह 3.40 बजे पूरा कर लिया। बीते 10 नवंबर को रायपुर से इस अभियान के लिए निकले थे। इस दौरान माइनस (-14 डिग्री) तापमान पर ट्रेकिंग के द्वारा लगभग 24 किलोमीटर दूरी तय करके पूरा किया।
आसान नहीं थी चढ़ाई
छत्तीसगढ़ के पहले विंटर एक्सपीडिशन करने वाले चमन लाल कोसे बताते हैं कि यह चढ़ाई आसान नहीं थी। चढ़ाई के दौरान कई सारी मुश्किलों का सामना करना पड़ा सबसे बड़ी चुनौती विंड चिल्ड फैक्टर थी, यानी ठंडी तेज़ हवाओं से बचना। इसके अलावा दो बार हिमस्खलन का सामना भी करना पड़ा। चमन बताते हैं इस दौरान पहाड़ो में होने वाली एएमएस बीमारी के चपेट मे भी आ गए। लेकिन उनका कुछ करने का जज्बा और जुनून ही उन्हें शिखर पर ले गया।
शिखर पर छत्तीसगढ़िया ओलंपिक का झंडा फहरा कर संदेश दिया
छत्तीसगढ़िया ओलंपिक को एडवेंचर स्पोर्ट्स के जरिये बढ़ावा देने लिए चमन ने 17,353 फीट पर हिमाचल प्रदेश के माउंट फ्रेंडशिप पीक ‘छत्तीसगढ़िया ओलंपिक’ का झंडा फहराया। इस अभियान के लिए चमन लाल कोसे ने अपने विधायक और प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री श्री भूपेश बघेल का आभार व्यक्त अपने तरीके से किया है। चमन ने मुख्यमंत्री श्री भूपेश बघेल को समर्पित करते हुए पाटन वाले कका का पोस्टर शिखर पर फहराया। उन्होंने कहा कका के सहयोग के बिना यह कर पाना संभव नहीं था।
ये रही अभियान की विशेषता
चमन लाल कोसे अल्पाइन टेक्निक क्लाइम्बिंग के साथ-साथ विंटर एक्सपीडिशन किया। अल्पाइन टेक्निक से क्लाइम्बिंग यानी इस चढ़ाई में अमूमन 1-2 लोग ही होते हैं और अभियान को पूरा करते हैं। यह पर्वतारोहण के क्षेत्र में सबसे उच्चतम श्रेणी की विधा है। विंटर एक्सपीडिशन का मतलब शरद ऋतु में पर्वतारोहण करना है। विंटर एक्सपीडिशन 1 प्रतिशत से भी कम पर्वतारोही ही कर पाते हैं। इस तरह राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर विंटर एक्सपीडिशन करने वाले छत्तीसगढ़ के पहले व्यक्ति चमन लाल कोसे बन गए हैं। इससे पहले छत्तीसगढ़ के एवेरेस्ट पर्वतारोही राहुल गुप्ता ‘माउंटेन मेन’ ने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर के पहाड़ों पर अल्पाईन टेक्निक के साथ साथ विंटर एक्सपीडिशन भी किया है।
अगले अभियान के लिए है तैयार
अब अगले महीने में चमन अफ्रीका महाद्वीप के सबसे ऊंची चोटी माउंट किलिमंजारो (19,341 फिट/5,895 मीटर) की ऊंची चोटी पर चढ़ाई करेंगे। जो कि महाद्वीपों के पहाड़ो की ऊँचाई की रैंकिंग में चौथा सबसे ऊंची चोटी है।
कौन हैं पाटन के चमन
25 वर्षीय चमन लाल कोसे दुर्ग जिले के पाटन के निवासी हैं। चमन एक मध्यम वर्गीय परिवार के हैं। उनके पिता एक किसान हैं। साथ ही चमन वर्तमान समय में कुशाभाऊ ठाकरे पत्रकारिता एवं जनसंचार विश्वविद्यालय रायपुर में समाजकार्य विभाग के प्रथम सेमेस्टर के विद्यार्थी हैं।

पर्वतारोही चमन लाल कोसे ने सिक्किम के पर्वतारोहण संस्थान से माउंटेनियरिंग (पर्वतारोहण) और माउंट आबू, राजस्थान में स्थित स्वामी विवेकानंद इंस्टिट्यूट से रॉक क्लाइम्बिंग का कोर्स किया है। पर्वतारोहण जैसे साहसिक खेलों के क्षेत्र में पिछले 5 सालों का अनुभव रहा है। उन्होंने उत्तराखंड व छत्तीसगढ़ के एडवेंचर स्पोर्ट्स बेस्ड कंपनी व संस्थान में भी काम सीखा है।
