नई दिल्ली। देश की राजधानी नई दिल्ली और आसपास के इलाकों में आज सुबह झमाझम बारिश हुई। बारिश सुबह करीब साढ़े चार बजे से ही शुरू हो गई, जो अभी तक जारी है। बारिश की वजह से कई जगहों से जलभराव की तस्वीरें सामने आईं हैं। आपको बता दें कि मौसम विभाग ने गुरुवार को ही दिल्ली एनसीआर में बारिश का एक और दौर शुरू होने की संभावना जताई थी। अबसे थोड़ी देर पहले भारतीय मौसम विभाग ने दिल्ली, पश्चिमी यूपी और हरियाणा में अगले दो घंटे के लिए अलर्ट जारी किया है। इन इलाकों में तेज हवाओं के साथ बिजली और बारिश का अलर्ट जारी किया गया है।दक्षिण पश्चिमी मानसून दिल्ली में भले ही अस्थिर रहा हो और इसकी गिनती सबसे देर से आने वाले मानसून में की गई हो लेकिन इसने राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में 11 साल में अब तक सबसे ज्यादा 1005.3 मिलीमीटर बारिश की है। यह 2010 के बाद पहली बार है जब दिल्ली में मानसून की बारिश ने 1000 मिमी का रिकॉर्ड तोड़ा है।
भारतीय मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (आईएमडी) के मुताबिक, सफदरजंग वेधशाला में मानसून की ऋतु के दौरान आम तौर पर औसतन 648.9 मिमी वर्षा दर्ज की जाती है। एक जून को मानसून का मौसम शुरू होने से 10 सितंबर तक यहां 586.4 मिमी बारिश होती है। आईएमडी के एक अधिकारी ने कहा, “दिल्ली में २०१० में मानसून की ऋतु में १,०३१.५ मिमी बारिश दर्ज की गई थी। तब से, यह सबसे अधिक बारिश है।”
दिल्ली में २०११ के मानसून में ६३६ मिमी, २०१२ में ५४४ मिमी, २०१३ में ८७६ मिमी, २०१४ में ३७०.८ मिमी और २०१५ में ५०५.५ मिमी बारिश दर्ज की गई थी। आईएमडी के मुताबिक, २०१६ में ५२४.७ मिमी, २०१७ में ६४१.३ मिमी, २०१८ में ७६२.६ मिमी, २०१९ में ४०४.३ मिमी और २०२० में ५७६.५ मिमी वर्षा दर्ज की गई थी।
दिल्ली में जुलाई और सितंबर में भारी बारिश हुई और कई बार तो कुछ घंटों में १०० मिमी वर्षा दर्ज की गई जिससे सड़कें, आवासीय क्षेत्र, स्कूल, अस्पताल और बाजारों में घुटनों तक पानी भर गया तथा यातायात प्रभावित हुआ। दिल्ली में इस महीने की शुरुआत में लगातार दो दिनों में १०० मिमी से अधिक बारिश दर्ज की गई- एक सितंबर को ११२.१ मिमी और दो सितंबर को ११७.७ मिमी वर्षा हुई।
