नई दिल्ली । प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने खुदरा एवं थोक व्यापार को सूक्ष्म, लघु एवं मध्यम उपक्रमों (एमएसएमई) के तहत लाने के फैसले को शनिवार को ऐतिहासिक करार दिया और कहा कि उनकी सरकार इस समुदाय को सशक्त बनाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। खुदरा एवं थोक व्यापार को एमएसएमई के तहत लाने के फैसले के कारण खुदरा और थोक व्यापारियों को भी बैंकों तथा वित्तीय संस्थानों से प्राथमिकता प्राप्त श्रेणी में ऋण उपलब्ध हो सकेगा।
केंद्रीय एमएसएमई मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने खुदरा और थोक व्यापार को एमएसएमई के तहत लाने की शुक्रवार को घोषणा की थी। इससे ये क्षेत्र भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (आरबीआई) के दिशा-निर्देशों के अनुरूप बैंकों की प्राथमिकता प्राप्त श्रेणी के तहत ऋण का लाभ उठा सकेंगे। पीएम मोदी ने ट्वीट किया कि हमारी सरकार ने खुदरा एवं थोक व्यापार को एमएसएमई में शामिल करने का ऐतिहासिक कदम उठाया है। इससे हमारे करोड़ों व्यापारियों को आसानी से ऋण मिलने में मदद मिलेगी। उन्हें कई अन्य लाभ मिलेंगे और उनके कारोबार को भी बढ़ावा मिलेगा। हम हमारे व्यापारियों को सशक्त बनाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं। सूत्रों के अनुसार सरकार के इस फैसले ने 250 करोड़ रुपए तक का कारोबार करने वाले छोटे खुदरा एवं थोक विक्रेताओं पर तत्काल प्रभाव पड़ेगा और उन्हें आत्मनिर्भर भारत कार्यक्रम के तहत घोषित विभिन्न योजनाओं के तहत तत्काल ऋण मिल सकेगा। खुदरा एवं व्यापार संघों ने भी इस कदम का स्वागत किया है और कहा है कि इससे कोविड-19 के कारण बुरी तरह प्रभावित कारोबारियों को पूंजी मिल सकेगी, जिसकी उन्हें बहुत आवश्यकता है।
